An exciter, also known as bodyshaker, is basically a loudspeaker without a membrane. By applying a voice or music signal, the oscillating mass starts shaking. This oscillation is transmitted to the mounting plate and from there on to the surface the exciter sticks to. Thus, the excited surface will emit the voice or music signal.
- Ideal for installing into cabinets, shop window displays etc.
- Ideal where normal speakers cannot be placed for optical reason or protection against environment
- Can be attached to the surface plate by gluing or screwing
