BIT:BOT XL KIT

The XL is the bigger, better and much improved version of the popular Bit:Bot robot for the micro:bit. The Bit:Bot XL comes ready assembled and is fully compatible with the original Makecode extension, allowing you to take your fun to the next level.

• 2 Micro-metal gear motors with fully covered gearboxes
• Motors are fully controllable in software for both speed and direction (forward or reverse)
• Chunky wheels with rubber tyres for maximum grip
• Fitted with 12 RGB LEDs: 2 sets of 6 along the arms on both sides
• Select any colour for any LED and produce stunning lighting effects as Bit:Bot XL moves around
• 2 digital line following sensors, code your own line-following robots and race them
• Edge connector is now mounted vertically for easier access to the micro:bit
• Line following sensor no longer share pin with micro:bit button, allowing use of A/B buttons in code
• Buzzer is now connected to Pin 0, so you can make sounds or play music
• Integrated 3xAA battery holder with on/off switch and blue indicator LED
