The PN-DESIGNKIT-11 is the Port Note design kit for HDMI 1.3 ESD and overcurrent protection. The Port Note design kit is a selection of assorted circuit protection items conveniently packaged for easy access in a plastic box with bin guide. The Port Note solutions provide protection recommendations for typical port threats. Each Port Note solutions circuit protection design kit provides a simple, single page guide with essential information to provide an effective solution known to work in most typical applications. Information provided includes objectives, part numbers, compliance, schematics and much more. The HDMI 1.3 interfaces are 3.3V differential digital signals with single link bandwidths up to 340MHz (10.2Gbit/s). As usage of HDMI ports increases, HDMI ports face a growing threat of ESD damage.
