The MAX6819UT+T is a power-supply sequencer in 6 pin SOT-23 package. It is a power-supply sequencer for dual-voltage microprocessors and multivoltage systems. This device monitors a primary supply voltage and enable/disable an external n-channel MOSFET switch for a secondary supply voltage. The MAX6819 control local component voltage sequencing with improved system reliability. It includes an internal voltage reference/ comparator with externally adjustable thresholds to monitor the primary power supply. When the primary supply is below the desired threshold, an external secondary supply MOSFET switch is disabled. When a primary supply exceeds threshold, an internal charge pump is activated and the external MOSFET switch is enabled to connect secondary supply to load. The charge pump fully enhances n-channel MOSFET switch to provide a very low RDSON voltage drop. It can be connected to support various supply sequencing priorities such as VI/O before VCORE or VCORE before VI/O.
- Supply voltage range is 900mV to 5.5V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
- Internally fixed 200ms enable timeout period
- Logic driven EN input to enable/disable the external MOSFET drive
- Immune to short voltage transients
- Supply current is 60μA, disable mode current is 20μA and slew rate is 6V/s
